Smokos login not working - let's fix it
Locked out, error message, or the page just won't behave? Work down this list top to bottom and you'll be back in without needing to bother anyone.
"Wrong username or password"
The most common one, and usually the easiest. Before you reset anything, rule out the small stuff.
Passwords are case-sensitive. A stray Caps Lock or the wrong keyboard layout is the usual culprit.
Smokos takes your username or email address. If one isn't landing, try the other in the same box.
A saved password can go stale after you've changed it. Clear the box and type it manually to be sure.
Enter your registered email on the login screen and Smokos sends a reset link by email. Set a new password and you're sorted.
Account locked or "temporarily unavailable"
If you're seeing a locked or suspended message rather than a password error, the fix is different.

Page won't load, spins forever, or logs you straight back out
When the login form itself is the problem, it's almost always browser gunk. Do these in order.
Old cookies are the number-one cause of a login that submits and bounces straight back. Clear them for the site and reload.
This runs with no cached data or extensions. If login works there, you've confirmed it's your normal browser's cache or an add-on at fault.
Ad-blockers, VPN add-ons and privacy tools can block the login script. Turn them off for the site and try again.
An out-of-date browser trips up on modern login pages. Update it, or jump to a different browser to get in right now.
Flick between wifi and mobile data. A half-dropped connection makes a login hang without ever throwing a clear error.
